Blue Beetle

I had the immense pleasure of being able to work on Blue Beetle. I worked in the costume department lead by the amazing Mayes Rubeo, assistant Costume designers Daniel Selon and Phillip Boutte Jr., fellow illustrator Jonay Bacallado, and also got to collaborate with the extremely talented artists from 9B. It was a privilege getting to work on this character, I have been a big fan of BlueBeetle since I saw him in Young Justice. The final design was a joint effort from all the concept artists working on the character, as well as the execution of the suit by Ironhead Studios. Every time I work on a suit that they build afterwards they manage to always elevate the design and exceed all expectations!
